BOOK DONATION

In India, there is a great need to provide encouragement to deserving students particularly, from rural areas in carrying out their studies properly. It is needless to say that books are quite essential in this endeavour. In recent times, books particularly important reference books are not easily available and are becoming increasingly costly. Consequently, students and teachers face much difficulty in getting an access to important books. Therefore, Foundation, in pursuance of its policy to promote excellence in higher education, has instituted Book Donation Scheme in colleges including Teachers Training College that are mainly located in rural and backward areas that cater to the educational needs without discrimination of caste or creed. So far the Foundation has donated valuable reference books worth lakhs of rupees to more than 250 colleges /polytechnics situated all over India.
